The Bush Creek East Wildfire has impacted every resident, non-profit organization and business in our community. We are saddened by the devastation, losses and hurt experienced by all. Please know we are committed to helping our community.

Our Board of Directors have collectively agreed to follow our Mission Statement and Objectives and do our best to inform and provide awareness while helping the community through recovery and remediation.

At this time, we are working with the Shuswap Economic Recovery Task Force in collaboration with many partners who are in positions that can help with resources. We will continue our advocacy on your behalf while moving into Sub-Committees created to represent all aspects of economic recovery and move it forward. These Sub-Committees have excellent representation from our Board of Directors, community business members and key people experienced in economic recovery. We are committed to this process.

While doing that we will continue with our work plan and ongoing projects, which includes community events, promoting tourism & year-round living, business networking and beautification projects.  Regardless of the wildifre, we remain a desirable place to work, live and play and we need to do our best to represent our community

We are close to the end of the working year for the Chamber. We look forward to being able to share our acccomplishments and plans for the future at our Annual General Meeting on Oct 23, 2023 6:30PM North Shuswap Community Hall-Small Room. You are welcome to join us. Please feel free to reach out at anytime.
