Mitch Campsall — Candidate for Electoral Area F
This is an incredible community to live in, and experience matters. Over the past three years, I have served our region as a member of the High Acuity Response Team (H.A.R.T.) in critical care transport.
My extensive background in public service includes 14 years as Mayor of 100 Mile House, 14 years with the Cariboo Regional District, 11 years as Councillor, 6 years with the North Central Local Government Association (1 year as President), and 5 years on the UBCM Board. I have also served as a Northern Development Initiative Trust Board Member, volunteer firefighter and highway rescue member, Lions Club Zone Chairman, and Chairman of Community Schools.
Key Achievements & Priorities:
Proven Regional Leadership: Established monthly coordination meetings in the South Cariboo, unifying local leadership to turn a single voice at the table into four votes on major issues like healthcare and doctor recruitment.
Strong Partnerships: Fostered collaborative relationships with local First Nations, surrounding fire departments, and tourism groups. Proud to have worked with the Regional District to help launch Orange Shirt Day and share Phyllis Webstad’s story.
