Empowering Non-Profit Boards Workshop Series

We’re excited to introduce a new learning opportunity for local non-profit leaders this spring.

The Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with SASCU, is hosting a five-part workshop series designed to support the leaders who support our community.

These practical sessions are open to board members, executive directors, staff, and anyone involved in non-profit leadership who would like to strengthen their knowledge of governance, financial oversight, and long-term sustainability.

? All sessions are completely free of charge thanks to the generous support of SASCU

???? May 23 – Fiduciary Responsibilities of Board Members

???? May 30 – How to Read Financial Statements & What to Look For

???? June 13 – Governance Training

???? June 20 – Grant Writing

???? June 27 – Capacity Building & Donor Stewardship

???? Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

(Governance Training on June 13 will run 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

???? Location: To be confirmed - virtual option will be available
